GROUNDSMAN MILES MOVING ON TO SUNNY SHORES

Groundsman Miles McCaughey worked his last day at Rifle Park on Saturday as he will soon be leaving Banbridge to enjoy the warmer shores of sunny Spain.

President Andy Duke presented Miles with a rugby club shirt as a token of the club's appreciation for the hard work he put in during his tenure as club groundsman. Miles's efforts every Saturday ensuring pitches were ready for matches, changing rooms ready for teams, and his general hard work in keeping the grounds and facilities clean and tidy will be greatly missed.

Miles took the opportunity to wish the rugby club and all those involved in it at every level the best for the future and promised to visit on his trips back to Banbridge.
